A strobe light or stroboscopic lamp, commonly called a strobe, is a device used to produce regular flashes of light. It is one of a number of devices that can be used as a stroboscope. The word originated from the Greek strobos (Greek: στρόβος), meaning "act of whirling".

Since clubs are still closed and it has been way too long since we have been blinded by the retina vaporizing power of strobe lights, we thought it would be a good idea to dedicate this Set to them - and maybe exaggerate a bit.

This is the Video which marked the birth of Donnerkanzel. Two guys with a passion for driving techno, meticulously fitting visuals and the technical aspects behind it. By now Donnerkanzel is a Techno-Collective which counts five members and not only brings the [Techno x Visuals] concept to your screens but to clubs aswell.

In the last 2 years I have played my Visuals in most of Vienna´s techno nightclubs like Grelle Forelle, Pratersauna, Fluc, Exil, SASS, O-Klub.

Since most of these clubs don´t have LEDwalls we had to bring our own.
